The Embassy extends its gratitude to the organizers for the successful organization of the roundtable discussion “Republic of Moldova – Romania: New Opportunities for Mutual Support and Economic Cooperation in the United Kingdom,” which took place in London on 8 December 2025.

 

The event, organized for the first time with the support of the Embassies of the Republic of Moldova and Romania, provided a valuable platform for dialogue and collaboration, contributing to the strengthening of economic cooperation between the business communities.

 

In his address, Ambassador Ruslan Bolbocean emphasized that Romania is the Republic of Moldova’s main economic partner and a constant supporter of its European path. The excellent cooperation between the two diplomatic missions in London, together with the strategic partnership relations with the United Kingdom, creates new opportunities to strengthen the community of business people from the Republic of Moldova and Romania established in the UK, to identify new directions for development and mutual support, as well as to promote trade with the United Kingdom and attract investments to our countries.

 

The Embassy highly appreciates the initiative and efforts of Mr. Ion Mereacre and Mr. Ion Bouaru of Cornelius UK Ltd., as well as the active participation of representatives of the business community.

 

At the same time, the Embassy reaffirms its readiness to continue supporting initiatives that promote sustainable partnerships and bilateral economic projects.
