The Ambassador Ruslan Bolbocean had a meeting with the Head of the Directorate for International Strategy, Engagement and Decentralization (ISED), Home Office, Asim Hafeez. The focus of the discussion was the development and the consolidation of the biliteral partnerships between the Republic of Moldova and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northen Ireland.
The Ambassador expressed his gratitude for the constant support provided by the UK in strengthening institutional capacities and resilience. Furthermore, the parties agreed to develop various bilateral programs that will bring mutual benefits for both sides. Director Asim Hafeez reiterated the openness to increase cooperation and focus on deliverables, essential in the new regional security context.
A topic of major interest was the expansion of the legal basis, the Ambassador emphasized the importance of the progress on the agreement regarding the conversion of driving licenses.
