Ambassador Angela Ponomariov had a meeting with Lord Harrington, Minister for Refugees at the Home Office and Department for Levelling Up and Communities, to discuss the management of the flow of Ukrainian refugees by the Moldovan authorities and the assistance provided by foreign partners.

The meeting reaffirmed the United Kingdom's openness to cooperate with the Republic of Moldova in the humanitarian field and expressed the readiness of the British authorities to assist in the resettlement of Ukrainian refugees from the Republic of Moldova to the United Kingdom.
