Ambassador Angela Ponomariov met with Neil Gray, the Scottish Minister for Culture, Europe, and International Development and Minister with special responsibility for Refugees from Ukraine. During the discussions, they addressed the possibilities for cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and Scotland in managing the Ukrainian refugee’s crisis.

The official said that the Scottish Government is available to provide humanitarian assistance to the Republic of Moldova, acting as a "Super Sponsor" through the Ukraine Sponsorship Scheme, and is prepared to receive refugees from Ukraine, including those located in the Republic of Moldova.
