The Embassy of the Republic of Moldova attended the MAD Aid Charity Ball
The Embassy team attended the 7th edition of the MAD-Aid Charity Ball, which took place on the Isle of Wight, bringing together MAD-Aid partners, representatives of the UK business, and members of the Moldovan diaspora.
Ambassador Angela Ponomariov thanked those involved in the implementation of MAD-Aid projects in the Republic of Moldova, in particular, the founder of MAD-Aid Victoria Dunford, originally from the Republic of Moldova. She noted particularly the significance of the inauguration last year of the Phoenix Center, which is unique in the Republic of Moldova, combining the Center for Children with Special Needs, the House for the Elderly Care and the Hydrotherapeutic Basin, for which presently are collected funds.
The MAD-Aid Founder expressed gratitude to the Embassy for the constant support and awarded it with a Certificate of Appreciation.
During the event were collected financial funds to be directed to the charity assistance provided by MAD-Aid.
