During the meeting of the Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Angela Ponomariov, with the Director of the Common Travel and Visa Policy Department of the United Kingdom Homme Office, Rebecca Nugent, were addressed the possibilities of visa facilitation travel regime for citizens of the Republic of Moldova. The interest of the Moldovan side in launching practical discussions with the Home Office's representatives was reiterated in order to identify viable mechanisms, aimed at gradually eliminating the obstacles faced by the Moldovan citizens traveling to the UK. The British side expressed the will to launch a permanent dialogue on this issue.
